Transforming Tomorrow with Comcast: Partnerships That Inspire Progress

On the 25^th of June 2025, our Strategic Funding Manager Karen Ferraby spent the day at the Buffini Chao Deck at the National Theatre, for the Comcast Business Partner Empowerment 2025 event.

The event brought together an amazing mix of people, and organisations who joined forces to shed light on current evolving changes. Comcast Business introduced inspiring new ways they are transforming enterprise connectivity, of course.

We discovered much more about SD-WAN, SASE, and tailored enterprise solutions, discussions focused on today’s real challenges: how to connect remote sites securely, avoid threats, and migrate from outdated systems.

A theme emerged: real progress happens when companies work together.

Working Together to Accelerate Positive Change

Comcast Business had a lot of exciting updates to share, particularly around how they are making networks more secure, and scalable. We heard that it’s not just cutting-edge tech that’s unlocking opportunities for today’s businesses – it’s teamwork.

As part of a panel discussion, Karen spoke about a recent project with a large housing association Techgrants have secured with Comcast Business. The housing association was dealing with a common challenge – the restrictions of a legacy system, and the complexity involved in upgrading.

They were navigating the hurdles of MPLS connectivity and needed to upgrade to an SD – WAN service capable of powering 16 separate sites. Comcast’s partnership with Sky was a perfect solution, ensuring secure connections could reach even the most remote of locations.

An upgrade like this of course involves positive disruption but due to Comcast Business products, and our ability to connect the organisation with free funding, guidance, and support, the project is delivering fast results.
